Christmas Princess Latte/Macchiato Glass

I love the look of this glass, it is beautiful. But it broke when I put ice it in. Maybe it was an anomaly and there was a fault with mine. Not sure.

The Christmas Princess deer is beautiful, but the "glass" looks like, feels like, and even sounds like plastic. I may order a second one, just to have a pair, but the overall effect is a bit disappointing. The face of the deer does not dominate the glass as it appears to do in the photo, and that's a shame, too. I wish there were regular, tall beverage glasses (15-16 oz.) available in this design.
