I saw this mug in an historical store in Charleston, SC and left it behind. When I got home it was all I could think about, the mug that was not purchased in fear of it breaking during the plane trip back home. The following year I went back to Charleston, and walked and walked until I found the store again. I did a quick survey and was so saddened to not see the mug. I took a shot and asked someone at the register if they by chance had the mug or if it could be ordered. The cashier took me right to the spot where there were 3 mugs left. I purchased 2, one for me and 1 for a friend. It is my favorite mug. Thin on the lip, comfortable to hold, and comfortable to wrap your hand around the mug to warm your hand. I treasure this mug and think about my trip to Charleston every time I use it. I only wish the hydrangea came in blue. But the lavender is a close second in color preference.
