as I said about the thermos, I’ve loved this image of a calico wearing a crown of tiny birds from the moment I first saw it and have searched, fruitlessly, for it on a replacement coffee cup for the one I was given years ago. I broke and repaired it, unable to find another because I didn’t have the PPD information. I was also given the Princess Grace Water Bottle, which I used every day, but, alas, also broke the stopper, so my search was on for another. I couldn’t find this either, but, once I discovered the PPD address, happily found a replacement, so I could still have this lovely, poignant image staring back at me every day. I so wish I could find another coffee cup--I adore calico cats, and would only be too happy to collect a whole series of them on all manner of objects—napkins, cups, plates, T-shirts, and so on (hint, hint.) hence, the Princess Grace cat dishes. my cats, on the other hand, are not as appreciative, their only interest being culinary, rather than aesthetic, but have a harder time making the great mess of their food as they usually do when it slops over the side of the lower sided dishes. my only complaint is the weight—indicating how well made they are and, hopefully, less breakable, as my coffee cup was. I love all the images on this site, and the Arts and Crafts ethos of transforming quotidian household objects into works of art. I would recommend this company w/o hesitation.
